I'll try to give this another chance, but right now my opinion is '♥♥♥♥ this game'. Of course, what really sealed the deal was the game crashing on me in the middle of it all. Whoever thought this was a good idea is probably an autist who rarely interacts with people and has zero clue on how to actually work with people, which actually makes it an impressive feat that a game was made at all! Why not tell me I can't direct them while the game is paused? It got to a certain point that I was just blindly clicking through the tips because I was being bombarded with them every 2 seconds when the game wasn't paused. Why not uh, you know, tell me where the ambition button is! Ok, you had me raise levies for armies.
'Choose this!' 'Do this action!' 'This thing is happening, can you do something about it right now?' It was fun just being tossed into everything, being told I need to do things, with no direction on how to do it. I always try the tutorial first in games just to get a feel for it.
